Many describe Pro Evolution Soccer 5 as the ultimate football game and indeed the best pro evolution soccer game. As a big fan of the series this is a fantastic edition and comes close to beating PES 6 to the best pro evo. With unrivaled gameplay this game is very addictive and hours seem to fly by when playing the game. The game provides a constant challenge with the smart AI and it proves to be very difficult to take it around players even with a world class player. The speed of PES 5 is just right and represents real football very well. The only gripe I have with this game is the fact that the referees seem to stop play for what it may seem to be a fair shoulder charge. This does disrupt the flow of the game somewhat but other than that PES 5 is an essential game for the die hard Pes fans.
