Richard Burns Rally (PS2)

Richard Burns Rally is an all-time classic of a rally game. Available for the PS2 other formats, this is based on the PS2 version. Weh you first load the game, you need to attend a rally school before you can begin to unlock the full rally events. Don't be fooled however, as unlike most games, this school is difficult to master. I do find the loading times of the game to be horrendiously long. Fifteen seconds to load in a menu screen with 5 options is simply too slow in my opinion. As far as racing games go on the PS2 this is probably one of the most challenging that I have ever played, the problem is that it really punishes even the tinniest of racing mistakes, get your line or speed wrong into a corner, brake too late for that hair pin bend and your car will be off the track and incurring some serious damage and time delays. I find the handling of the cars to be very sensitive which means that I find myself almost tip toeing through the different stages and hnce I never really feel as though I'm making use of the cars potential.
