Rugby 08 is the newest installment of the rugby series from ea. This game involves the simulation of rugby union games with the majority of major teams in the world, world and club level. This game is an extremely addictive and fun game although it does suffer in its realism and graphics. The gameplay is great, you can have hours of fun scoring many different types of tries aswell as kicking goals from as far as possible. You can lead your favourite team to glory in a number of competitions including the world cup and league division from most countries. You can also take on a world league in which you take a default team yo glory and you can buy the players you require to achieve this glory. The negatives about this game however are vast in number. The players ratings are outdated and also many players have been extemely over rated. For instance BOD(although he is an amazing player) should not be able to run in 10 95 metre tries in one game, its ridiculous. Then the graphics; every single player acts the same with only their hair and face differing. Aswell since when has Jordan Turner Hall been white and Dennis Leamy been bald with a beard? The gameplay is fun but there are so many flaws that you can get points from the hardest of positions.
