Rugby 08 is the newest installment of the rugby series from ea. This game involves the simulation of rugby union games with the majority of major teams in the world, world and club level. This game is an extremely addictive and fun game although it does suffer in its realism and graphics. The gameplay is great, you can have hours of fun ... Read the complete review

Im not a huge rugby fan and mainly only bought this game to try and learn more about the rules of rugby. Which worked fine. I found the game very easy to play, easier once I discovered the rules better, and slowly found myself getting very into rugby and now classifying myself as a Leeds Rhinos fan, even though that is rugby ... i am a fan af rugby as well as a player myself and i jumped at the chance to own a rubgy game on ps2. I got this game home and as a fan of sports games was unfortunately disapointed. This game is brilliant for the first month or so. The graphics looking amazing, the details on the players and teams is impressive, and the game play is easy to pick up but takes a while to master. However when you have completed the major tournaments you will have honed your skills and mastered the basic techniques you need to know. ... Read the complete review

The immaculate timing of the release of this game has given EA an even bigger back pocket, this is because if you're a rugby fan and a gaming fan, you would have been begging for a game like this to come out during rugbys biggest tournament and, well, it did. On saying that, it doesn't seem like a quick rush job to get the game out on ... Read the complete review

I'm not going to pretend to be the biggest Rugby fan on the planet by any means but I have always been partial to the odd video game version of it. My liking of Rugby games began with Jonah Lomu Rugby on the Playstation and continues here as I picked up Rugby 08 not long after it came out. There was no Rugby 07 game and no other Rugby ...
