Scooby-Doo, one of the most famous classic Tv cartoons of all time. The PS2 brings the gang to life in the scooby-doo game called scooby-doo unmasked. The game very much sounds and looks like the cartoons, with nice cel-shaded characters and an extremely good story line. On the other hand the whole game really is straight forward with really stupid enemy's and really dumb, easy levels. But I have to admit the costumes that scooby-doo can change into are really awesome. The game ends a bit too soon, and so if there was a bit more of the gameplay, I will have to admit it will be so much better, but unfortunately it does end a bit to quickly!

Younger people will definitely enjoy this game through its graphics and story mode, infact to every last detail of the game. But for more grown up people it really is a bit basic but is great in the way it gives you that special scooby-doo feeling.

The game is pretty like much a real cartoon from the entrance them opening and to the clips and the way scooby, shaggy, daphne and fred and velma act! The game starts by Jed, freddys cousin going missing in his studio and the gang split up to look for lose just like as in the cartoons. as in the scooby-doo fashion, the phrase the ''meddling'' kids to clear out jeds name and eventually recover him and the crime suspect of who had kidnapped him.

You get to be scooby-doo through out the entire game, which is good to stick with a few particular moves, but on the other hand bad as maybe your favourite character was shaggy. Although you play as scooby-doo, shaggy owns his restaurant that scooby needs to give some sort of token for to buy and increase his life. And Fred and Daphne own the Mystery Machine And you ask Velma for hints and for if your stuck she will give you advice.

There are different types of suits which scooby-doo can wear to help him solve the mystery from the kung-fu suit to the flying suit and a plunger through like as in robin hood. You will need to fill the machines up with mubber which you collect along the way of your mystery, usually around 100 or 200 to get the suits out the machine, although it can be much more or much less.

The bosses which you need to fight here and then are really good. the bosses are from the dragon boss to the guitar hero madness boss, all which give the games so much activity, competing and enjoyable.

Overall I will give this game 9/10, as nearly everything is perfect apart from some small things I have mentioned above. Its a great game for all great scooby-doo fans as well as your kids!
