This is more than a computer game, it is an experience.

Turn off the lights, get a surround sound system, turn up the volume, make sure your alone and start the game.

If you do the above you will create such an atmosphere within your house that will scare you silly. Its fantasticly brilliant and definately meets on a par with the resident evil series.

The creators of the game have concentrated more on the presentation of the game such as the graphics, sound effects etc than the playability of the game such as controlling the character. Although this does not hinder its quality simply because the game grabs your attention and your too scared to move anyway.

You must make your way through the game battling zombies and other creatures with your weapons. You have health and you must watch your health otherwise your gonna die.

You won't want to be alone after playing Silent Hill 2. I suggest you have your mom on the line just in case you get scared :-D

Summary: you gotta be hard to play this game
