I imagined that it was a matter of creating a world, and then making things happen, a bit like a play city, and looked forward to the challenge. I am not a youngster, but an older person who wanted to find a game that was fun to play. Sim City Deluxe Edition comes on two discs, with a very well explained book of instructions, and I was lucky enough to buy it new at fifteen pounds, because other versions have since come out, and I figured that if I tried it ... Rayman Raving Rabbids (PS2)
Charming rabbids, and there's so many of them, dancing stages are hilarious, charming graphics...
..though the frame rate is not, some mini-games repeat, controls are sometimes hard to handle.
Roadkill (PS2)
Looks a lot like GTA.
A poorman's GTA.
Tomb Raider Underworld (PS2)
Nice graphics, large interactive terrains
Some annoying glitches, terrible camera angles
FlatOut 2 (PS2)
Stunts
Hard car control when you first start
Capcom Fighting Jam (PS2)
Nice new selection of characters for fans
A lazy effort, not enough to do, bad character choice, awkward play system
Xenosaga Episode II (PS2)
Fabulous graphics, pleasantly ambitious landscapes
Utterly lacklustre characters and story, voice-acting troubles, battles are hard work
Tony Hawk's Project 8 (PS2)
Better storyline, more accessible gameplay, new nail the trick mode
Why are there so many load times!
