This has got to be my favourite Sing star disc. Perhaps because it gives me the chance to put on those white stilletto's and ra-ra skirt again!!!

This was the first of the singstar set that just focused on a particular decade and as soon as it was due to be released I had to get hold of a copy.

I wasn't disappointed lots of my 80's favourites were on there - Duran Duran, Culture Club, Wham and Madonna to name just a few. All the original videos are used for the tracks and it sticks to the usual Sing star format. The words are displayed on the screen together with a bar which helps indicate how high or low the note is and how long it should be held for. This is a great game to play with lots of friends, though I would say that after a few drinks we all think we are the best singers in the world.

You have the option of how loud you want the volume to be when you sing so you can be shy and retiring if you want, or sing loud and use the playback to hear who great (awful) you were.

I love the fun element of these games and I think the 80's disc encapsulates this more than most - perhaps the style of music suits it - perhaps it was just my moment in time-not sure. But the songs are good to sing along to and even my teenage children enjoy laughing and singing along with George Michael in his day glo!!!

Summary: Great addition to the Singstar range - lots of silly fun
