Advantages: cheap, can be played by all ages, easy to play

Disadvantages: You may get obsessed!

This is just one of many singstar games for the playstation 2 that I have purchased. I was a bit dubious at first at how good it would be but I am now converted.
The game is easy to understand..just plug the mircrophones in and off you go! There are multiple play options which involve solo's, duets and multiplayer party games.
Song selection is easy as a series of pictures are shown with name of artist and song title and it also plays part of the song to help you decide.
Once the song is selected highlighted bars which move across the screen let you know when to sing and you get a score and rating as you sing. At the end of each song you get an overall rating which generally tells you whether you were ' rubbish' or 'cool'.
It is a hilarious game which is best played with a number of people over a few bottles of wine.
As for singing in tune Im not convinced about how accurate the ratings are but is good for a laugh!
Cost is minimal and best to shop around to get the cheapest price. Widely available.
