I have many of the previous Singstar disks which I enjoy immensley. I play them with friends, flatmates and my family, the games really do seem to have a universal appeal and can be enjoyed by everybody. So when Singstar ABBA was released I was delighted. Since SingStar came out a few years ago, every time I've had the girls round for a few quiet glasses of wine, it's descended into drunken karaoke chaos and me looking shame-faced in front of the neighbours the next morning. I've played 4 or 5 of the other SingStar discs and they all have quite a few songs on that either I don't know or have no intention of singing. We rarely use the play station any more since getting the Wii. But the arrival of this as a Christmas present for our Abba mad daughter prompted a trip to the attic to retrieve the PS2. We have had other SingStar games, and this one follows the same format. You choose your song, your player mode - solo, duet, duel (you try and score more points than the person you are singing with) - and also the difficulty level. Ive always been a big fan of the singstar games, even though Im pretty sure my neighbours hate it by now!! And I first brought a "party" singstar game a few years ago and I have been hooked ever since! So when I saw that an abba version of the game had been released I was over the moon. I could probably sing the words to pretty much every abba songs without the words coming up on screen, so this game was an absolute MUST HAVE for me!
