What is Singstar Party?
Sing star party is a game for the play station 2 that Is basically like a karaoke game.

What do you get in the packaging?
You get 2 microphones one with a red band around it and 1 with a blue band around it. Sing star party disc for the playstation2. A adaptor that you plug into your play station where then the microphones plugs into with a USB connection.

What do you have to do?
Once you have placed your disc into the playstation2 and the disc has loaded up, you then decide whether you are singing solo, Sing in a party 2-8players, Singing Freestyle (no scoring, no pressure just sing)
Singing solo
After selecting Solo you then type your name in with your controller and then select if you want easy, medium or hard. After that you select a song from the list above and if you want the whole of the song or just the chorus.

Sing in a party 2-8 players
Select if you want to pass the microphone, a battle, or duet.
If you select pass the microphone you the choose your teams you can have 2 teams with 4 players on each side a blue team and a red team (this is why you have colour coded microphones) you then type in your names with your controller again. Select the difficulty of the game easy, medium or hard.
Then chose the length of each song, either the chorus or the whole song. There are 7 rounds on this and the rules are that each player will face off in the battle to get the highest score, the highest score wins. You can’t chose the song you want to sing as the computer selects this for you.
If you select battle you can only have 2 players, enter there names with the controller and select the difficulty of the game, easy, medium or hard. Choose the song and decide whether you want the whole song or the chorus. You are battling to get the highest score. Singing each line at the same.

If you select duet you type in you names then the difficulty, then your song then the length either the whole song or just the chorus. On duet you sing one line each.

Sing Free style
Select if there is 1 or 2 players then choose your song and the length of the song either the whole song or chorus.

Scoring
If your playing Solo or playing in a party you will be scored on how well you sing the song. Once you have set up your game and it’s time to sing there will be a line on the screen that the pitch/tone of your voice has to stay on to, this will score how well you have done. It isn’t has easy has it sounds.

~~~My Experience and Thoughts~~~
At 22 years old I am still a kid when it come to Christmas. Last Christmas morning as I was rummaging through my presents I couldn’t decide which one to open, I knew what most of them was, but this one particular one I hadn’t a clue what it was. Well I had to open it first, as I ripped the beautifully wrapped Winnie the Pooh wrapping paper away I could see two micro phone. What is this? I had to ask.
Oh no I can’t sing and I never sing in front of anyone, I only sing in my car when I am alone bopping away to the radio.
Everyone wanted to have ago on this and I was just sat there listening to everyone play on my present. How dare they? Lol After a few glasses of wine I thought stuff this and plucked up the courage to have ago. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would, I beat some of my family with the scoring. Ha Ha in your face. Lol
This game is great for party’s or special occasion like Christmas, go on buy it you know you want to.
