Advantages: Great fun, actually improves your singin

Disadvantages: Have to always change discs for different songs etc

You know something, Im not going to lie to you. At first I thought this was a stupid concept and when I booted up the game ( I was convinced to by it by my friends who thought it would be fun when your drunk) I found it to be mainly aimed at teenage girls. Which is fine, because.. thats probably mostly the people that buy it.. But it shouldnt be.. and Ill tell you why.
Im in a band at the minute, Im not even going to say which one because then everyone will know Im a singstar fan! But this new friend of mine, the singstar contraption took my timing and my tone and actually made me improve singing.. whilst having fun.
And guess what, my friends were right, its ddaammnn good fun when your drunk.

The songs on offer arent bad and are actually easy to sing along to but I wanted rockier tunes.. I bought the rock version of pop idol and to tell you the truth, Ive played this one more. Bar the fact that it was mainly indie and pop on the `rock` one, these songs are just plain more fun to sing along to..

So.. when your standing in the shop and your considering buying this wandering if it will be fun.. the answer is YES, its fun sober if you have the guts, and more fun drunk.. but you get bored of it. Although thats only because its the first thing you switch on for a good night in..

Summary: Great all round fun, definitely worth picking up
