Singstar Singalong with Disney (PS2)

SingStar is a PS2/PS3 karaoke-style game with marks out of 10,000 at the end of each song for your performance. There are over 20 different discs, such as ABBA, 80s, 90s, girlbands vs boybands, and Rock Ballads. There's even a Bollywood version, High School Musical discs and an RnB edition, so there really is a disc to suit everyone!! I'm not really a games console person but when I was introduced to singstar on the playstation 2 I was hooked. I bought myself a second hand playstation, microphones and a couple of singstar dvd's. I'm a huge Disney fan so it only seemed normal to buy the Singstar Singalong with Disney dvd which was released in 2008. I bought it from Amazon for around about £10. I've been a fan on SingStar for some time now and own all but a couple of the titles released so far, however, this Disney version was rather disappointing and rarely gets played. I actually bought it for my 8 year-old daughter who loves SingStar and loves Disney (especially the 'princesses'). Before giving it to her I wanted to try it out, and was quite happy at first on trying a few favourites from the more recent Disney films like Aladdin, Lion King and Beauty & the Beast. For those of you who don't know, Sing star is a game in which you have to sing and match the notes it shows on screen. It's a bit like karaoke, but you get marked for your performance! As the song is playing it shows the video in the background with lyrics on the top or bottom on the screen, depending with microphone you are using. As you sing your bar get's filled up with colour (red or blue depending what player you are) which shows what pitch you are singing. Singstar is my favourite & when i heard they were bringing out singstar Disney, even better as i love the Disney films. I put this game on ready to sing my heart out to some classic disney songs, especially my favourites:- A Whole New World (Aladdin), Circle Of Life (Lion King) & Under The Sea (Little Mermaid) Straight Away I Put A Whole New Word on and i found it very high pitched but i carried on in high spirits going through the songs until i had sung as many as i could.
