Advantages: Fun for all ages

Disadvantages: Some of the songs are a bit disapointing

For those of you who don't know, Sing star is a game in which you have to sing and match the notes it shows on screen. It's a bit like karaoke, but you get marked for your performance! As the song is playing it shows the video in the background with lyrics on the top or bottom on the screen, depending with microphone you are using. As you sing your bar get's filled up with colour (red or blue depending what player you are) which shows what pitch you are singing. The bars are the actual pitch you should be singing and you get more points for matching these.

I love singing (though not to anyone as I don't have an amazing voice!) but me and my sister recently decided to get some sing star games and the microphones. When we were out shopping we found this Sing star sing-along with Disney game for £15, which we thought wasn't too bad as its only about 2 pound cheaper online and it was worth buying when we could play it when we got home. The tracks that this game has on it are:-

I love Disney films and when we got home we put it on straight away. It comes with options such as solo mode, party mode (2 or more players) or head to head. Don't be fooled by thinking this game should be for kids. It has much loved favourites from year of growing up!

I have sung every one of these songs and think as they go it's a pretty good game. I do think that they shouldn't have put some on there, such as sleeping beauty songs as they are very hard to sing! Even in easy mode. They could have picked well known songs that would have fitted in better. I don't find it hard to sing the songs, though some do have a few high notes and some can be hard to sing, such as the lion King - Circle of life song if you are player 2 and singing the harmony!

Although this game isn't as great as I have expected, I wouldn't say no to have a belt out! I guess its better if you know all the films because then you'd know the songs...I haven't seen the lady and the tramp, sleeping beauty, Tarzan or the little mermaid much but have tried each song anyway! Disney is all about fun so try having some when playing this game.

Summary: Good game but should have had different songs on!
