Advantages: A few great songs that are fun to sing

Disadvantages: But too many old songs that are extremely hard to sing

I've been a fan on SingStar for some time now and own all but a couple of the titles released so far, however, this Disney version was rather disappointing and rarely gets played.

I actually bought it for my 8 year-old daughter who loves SingStar and loves Disney (especially the 'princesses'). Before giving it to her I wanted to try it out, and was quite happy at first on trying a few favourites from the more recent Disney films like Aladdin, Lion King and Beauty & the Beast.

However, once I got past those 3 or 4 good ones I struggled to find any more that I wanted to sing. There are a LOT of songs from the earlier classic Disney films, like Snow White & Sleeping Beauty, etc and they are extremely hard to sing....and compared to the songs in the modern films, they are quite poor songs (in my opinion).

When I ordered it, I had just assumed it would be the 'big' songs from the more modern films for today's kids. It was perhaps my bad for not reading the track list properly.

In the end, I ended up buying my daughter another present because I didn't think this was suitable for her. I'm not sure it's suitable for adults either...if you prefer the classic disney film songs then this may well be the game for you, but personally, I was disappointed with the song selection.

Summary: Disappointing, but can be fun for the few decent tracks on the disk
