I have three tennis games, and Smash Court Tennis: Pro Tournament 2 is by far and away my favourite. I really am quite addicted to it! By now, the game is quite old, but this is no problem at all, except for the fact that the players are a bit "past it". You can still play as Tim Henman, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Richard Gasquet, James Blake, Lindsay Davenport and Venus Williams amongst others. You can also create a 2 players (one man, one woman) in the Pro Tour mode which can be used as characters for the rest of the game. The game play in my opinion is genius. You can play as a normally match, winning the points until you get a game and then ... Read the complete review

Having purchased Smashed court Tennis 1 i was very cautious about purchasing the new version as i was not exaclty thrilled with the first offering of namco's tennis game. Funnily enough i ended up going to Blocbuster on a Fridya evening in order to rent a different game that turned out to be unavailable, the guy behind the till said 'Smash Court Tennis 2 is really good and its just come out to hire' so i did hire the game out and within 2 days i had returned it and bought a copy. The latest version is by far superior to a dismal first offering and now has many modes of play for either 1-4 players. Features . Superb world tour mode. You start off as ... I know this game is old but it is by far the best tennis game ive played on the ps2.The graphics arent bad and the gameplay is excellent. You can choose from a number of top stars to be like Roddick,Hewitt,Henman etc... It is easy to pick up aswell and you will soon be hitting forehand winners down the line. There is a number of modes that you can play tounament, practice, career, challenge. You can either play singles or doubles men or women. The best mode i have found is career mode. Its so in depth and its like being on the pro tour yourself.Youve got all the grandslams to play in Australian,French,Wimbledon and the US open. Also if u finish in the top 8 ... This game now is quite old and I would recommend that you do not buy it. The reason for this is because there are only 3 main tennis players on the game which are: Roddick, Henman, Hewitt. The game does not have the world’s best players such as Federer and Agassi. If you are looking to buy a cheap game where you don’t care how many top players are in the game then this is the game for you. The one feature I like in this game is the career mode where you start off at 250th and have to try and climb the ranks to get to number 1 but trust me it takes a long time to get to No.1. In the game there are a maximum of only 20 tennis players to choose from. The game play is ... Read the complete review

You can do various things on this game. My favourite one is the pro tour where you can create you own player, either male or female, you can choose their name and nationality, thewre height and weight, plus what abilities they have. You are then able to play in various tournaments throughout the world including the four grand slams. The overall aim of this section is to get to the number one ranking and you start off at number 250. You also get money after winning matches to spend on new outfits, new equipment or new hairstyles. There is also a training mode, where you can play fun games like smash ball or hitting the targets but to be honest this does not ... Read the complete review
