Back in the early 90s Sonic was the coolest of cool. The little hedgehog ran around at superspeed saving bunnies and bluebirds through colourful platform levels and the occasional tricky maze. Those days of course the only difference in kids games and adult games was that the kids games looked cuter. At some point though this changed and the game designers decided that no kid should ever have to do anything remotely challenging and this is where Sonic Heroes comes in. You control a team of three characters from the Sonic universe: Team Sonic: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles Team Dark: Shadow, Rouge, and E123-Omega Team ... Read the complete review

This is a review on the game Sonic Heroes. Sonic Heroes is the newest proper Sonic game. It is done in 3D shamefully, and has a whole lot of new characters for you to play with. This game is very similar to all the other Sonic games, but has its changes; it is a lot like Sonic Adventure 2, but different still. You get to control three people at once, and there are four teams. Teams ******** Team Sonic: Sonic the Hedgehog Tails (Also Known As Miles) Knuckles the Echidna Team Dark: Shadow the Hedgehog Rogue the Bat E - 123 Omega Team Rose: Amy Rose the Hedgehog Cream the ... Although Sonic has been in the 3D sphere for a while with the excellent Sonic Adventure games, it wasn't until Sonic Heroes that the series made its first entry on the PS2. Nevertheless, this is a mostly great game that's got the artistic style of the series down, and although not perfect, probably offers enough to sate most Sonic fanboys. The game is very much team-based, with the playable teams being The Team Sonic (Sonic, Tails and Knuckles), Team Dark (Shadow, E-123 Omega and Rouge), Team Rose (Amy Rose, Big the Cat and Cream the Rabbit) and Team Chaotix (Espio the Chameleon, Vector the Crocodile and Charmy Bee), each taking you through a storyline ... I wanted it on the day it was out, OUT OF STOCK though in every store i went to, i went to about eight shops, but not many discs were made, well not many compared to other games. This could have been because SEGA thought it might not do well on PS", for this was Sonics PS2 debut, but they need not to have worries. Well, here it goes. Sonic really is a hero, but Eggman/Robotnik just never has given up. He must get bored losing all of the time, but sonic doesnt get bored of winning, and nor do i. ive completed my fair share of sonic games on the SEGA (game sonic mega and gems collection on PS2), and this one ive completed too. Sonic finally ... Read the complete review

Finally, Sonic has landed on the PS2 for the first time, and Sonic Heroes is one of the best Sonic games that have been released since the start way back on the Megadrive (Boy, that was a long time ago). Sonic Heroes now introduced teamplay which is needed to defeat Dr Eggman (AKA Dr Robotnik in the past) as well as this mystery monster that appears. The teams are Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Rose and Team Chaotix, each giving you, the gamer, a different experience. Team Sonic is made up of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles and selecting this team will offer medium difficulty gameplay with high speed action. Team Dark is made up of ... Read the complete review
