SingStar: Party (PS2) ... was at a party recently where my friend decided to introduce this game. The embrassment came first, but slowly after one plucks up the courage( to gales of laughter and teasing) it s not long whilst the drinks are flowing before suddenly everyones a DIVA! The part that spoils it is the setting up, the conecting of all the wires and someone has to be in charge of the joypad. Although on the disc is a good mix of music suitable for young and old, it s got duets ,solo s and even team games, the microphones are colour coded to aid play, and words are easy to follow, although I ve found most of the song ends up consisting of giggling. Final Fantasy X (PS2) ... there is so much I can say about this game I don t know were I should start. Let s start with, I know a little bit about final fantasy games. Yep that sounds like a good place to start. Final fantasy games are all in no way related to each other. (Apart from X and X2) the only similarity that I can think of is that they all have someone called cid in them. And in X cid is an all Behd (you ll find out more about them in this review) who is the pilot of there airship. All final fantasy games have explicitly good graphics for there era in computer programming. Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) ... PS3 - but that s a whole other story that I won t go into here and now. The PS2 still has some truly incredible games on it that I would still keep in my collection even when I do (eventually) own a PS3 - therefore ensuring I never buy a 40Gb model which has no backward compatibility - so it ll have to either be a rare 60Gb model from eBay or the likes or maybe even the 80Gb version which Sony seem to be keeping away from European shores at this point in time... Yet more proof that Sony are dry-humping video game players on this side of the Atlantic. Okay... Rant over. Let s get back to the review.
