The storyline follows Spongebob who has just released the Flying Dutchman by accident after opening a bottle in a treasure chest. However, now the Flying Dutchman is angry about this and has put a curse over Bikini Bottom, so Spongebob must save the day by doing various tasks and collecting all the Dutchman's treasure to put him back in the chest.

Just saw that I posted this in GC and not the PS2 section, woops sorry! As I've said in previous reviews, cartoons are my guilty pleasures with Spongebob being my favourite. So when looking for a cheap game, I came across Spongebob Squarepants: Revenge Of The Flying Dutchman on Amazon which was only £7. From the box it looked like it was of good quality, and after playing it I have to say that it definitely does not disappoint. The game is aimed at 3 plus, similar to the cartoon, as it has easy controls and the parts of the games are really child friendly.
