Throughout the game, you drive the G-6155 Interceptor, with its numerous weapons such as missilies and machine gun and gadgets including oil slick and smoke screen. Each mission has its own objective which generally involving destroying a piece of Nostra equipment such a vehicle or control tower. Spyhunter is a driving game for the Playstation 2 developed by Midway Games in 2001. It is a remake of the classic arcade game of the same name and upgrades it to a 3D format with a more involving story. In the arcade game you drive a car fitted with all kinds of weapons and gadgets and you must drive continuously taking out enemies and avoiding causing harm to civilians. The PS2 game takes this to the next level, changing it from an arcade style game to a more conventional game with a behind the car view and proper storyline. Remember the classic arcade game Spyhunter? The one where you drove a little car that fired machine guns, and you could drive into the back of a little van to get refuelled and extra weapons? Well this is the PS2 remake of that wicked old game! Yep, all the gameplay from the original is still here, it's simple, you drive through a beautifully rendered 3d track, shooting bad guys with the machine guns on the front of your very nice looking sports car, which has the ability to turn into other vehicles in true James Bond style.
