I’d like to think that I play all the games I end up reviewing thoroughly so as to form a definitive view of the product, but its safe to say that few have been put through their paces quite as rigorously as Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time (ST: TET). Five months and over 105 hours of playing time fortunately haven’t gone completely to waste now that I’ve finally got around to writing about it, and so without further delay, here are my findings… Life for Star Ocean began back in the mid-nineties on the SNES, before making an appearance on the PSOne in the guise of Star Ocean: The Second Story which, incidentally, is one of the rarest and most expensive games ... 80 breathtaking hours of gameplay are set in a dynamic fantasy sci-fi universe with an open-ended plot including many side quests and sub-events. Numerous difficulty levels add yet another challenge, providing incredible replay value and catering to most gamers, from beginners to hard-core players. Good graphics, an original dynamic battle system and a ton of extra features add up to make this a must-have for RPG fans. _____ |Story | * Please note there are a few spoiler to the start of the game here * It is 772 SC and humans and other advance life forms Co-Exist. I am quite picky when it comes to RPG games, but Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is a very satisfying game that has a great deal of variety and an engrossing plot. Whether you want to just powerful through a breezy story or get immersed in sidemissions and subplots, there's something here for every hungry RPG nut. You play a young boy who was created to team up with two other similarly created beings, to fight the nefarious big bad that's currently threatening to essentially un-do the Universe. After a brief training level, as you holiday with your parents, this idyllic utopia is destroyed, and you are quickly helped to safety by a resistance group who set ... Read the complete review

Star Ocean Till The End of Time is a roleplaying game developed by Square Enix for the Playstation 2. The game follows the story of a young boy named Fayt Leingod, he is enjoying himself on holiday with his family and friend Sophia when their resort is suddenly attacked. Fayt gets separated from Sophia and his parents and ends up crash landed on a primitive planet. He must find out what happened to his family and friends and join up with them again. Needless to say but Fayt gets caught up in a plot which threatens the whole galaxy and must save the day with the help of friends and allies he meets on his journey. The combat system of Star Ocean is ... Read the complete review

This was the first Star Ocean that I got to play for a long length of time, I have completed it twice, the game has multiple endings, I am not a fan of multiple endings but I love this game none the less. The thing I like most about this game is the action packed battles, and the ability to avoid the battles, as you can see your enemies and choose to run past them sometimes. I love the whole system and the way you can do your attacks, if you chain your attacks together by performing an attack then cancelling your attack with another attack it will make your attacks have a percent bonus (do this several times and you inflict huge ...
