Advantages: solid starwars quality, easy to use

Disadvantages: repetitive, not as good as originals...!

Star wars is one of those rare entities that spans generations of fans whilst creating new ones all the time simply because people either like it because they DO like it, or because they think they SHOULD like it because everybody else seems to, which i find rather irritating, the same reason Man U have all those irritating little ****** who support them in devon. I am one of those people that usually gets annoyed when people say 'oh the originaly was far better' in a definately maybe vs whats the story kind of way, as i find these people just think its cool to dislike what is new.However when it came to the star wars series of films, well im sorry but the new films just dont cut it for me.if a film which looks like a computor game purports to be a serious and classy epic, then you should virtually be able to smell the wookie costume and know that the actor is actually talking to something rather than a blue screen to which some annoying quirky ja ja binks will later be irritatingly added. Star wars computor games are just that, computor games so this problem doenst exist for them. When it comes to this game, having spent many hours (although spent is not the word my mum woud use to describe, wasted rather), i have come to the conclusion that
Battlefront is a solid multiplayer action game suitable for all classes of people, from fans of the original film to fans of the new ones to a mix of the two. as it spans both series of films side or be assigned to one. Clone Wars maps pit the droids against the clones, while in the Civil War you’ll either play as the Empire or the Rebels.

The game basically involves one of four basic classes, sniper, soldier, pilot and missile launcher, and as you would imagine each has their own particular skills.missile launchers are able to blow the living crap out of vehicles, whilst other classes cant, soldiers are the odd job boys of the game and are good at a bit of everything, the gary nevilles of the game i suppose.snipers..well im not going to insult your intelligence by telling you what theyre good at and the same goes for pilot.i dopnt tach people to suck eggs!

As you can imagine the crux of the game is to kill all before you sparing none, and capturing territory.yes we come to expect that from this sort of game, no real innovations there, and there is a lot of the button bashing you come to expect from this genre.
The graphics are excellent and there are lovely touches like the fact that if you controle more area than your enemy you can take over a whole planet.if you take over a whole planet, tattoine per say, you can use the death star to wreak hell on other planets who dont leave the toilet seat down when theyve finished!
its a good solid game as you would expect from Lucas arts, but do you really want to give that guy that looks like an ewok any more of your hard earned cash?well id go for yes, its better than most from the star wars conveyor belt.Howerver i think its about time someone came up with a new idea for i for one am getting sick the star wars genre which is there basically to make money and sell merchandise wheras earlier on at its inception, it was a true reflection of life- good against evil.now its market forces vs audiences.im not happy!
