Star Wars battlefront is an extremely enjoyable game to play; it is based on the star wars films and involves the player in a role playing position as either a clone or a droid.

Within each category a player can choose specific extra abilities such as a jet pack or a medic pack, etc.
There is also the chance, in some maps, to enter a vehicle such as a X-Wing fighter or an AT-AT, etc.

Anyway, the game is in general, fantastic. It is one of my all time favourites.
The aim to the game is to conquer a map by means of capturing command posts or by simply killing everyone on the opposing side.

In this version you cannot be a hero character such as a Jedi or Sith, but the variance of maps and game types make up for this.

Game types include, as mentioned before, a simple instant play death match, or if you prefer you can enter a campaign in which you fight your way across the galaxy.

I have played both Star Wars battlefront I & II and prefer the first as although it does lack further maps and features, I feel it is a more well rounded game.

Summary: Good diverse game with plenty to do
