Battlefield 2 - Modern Combat (PS2) ... 2 modern combat sounds a bit like a sequel and in a way it is a sequel to the PC battlefield games, it is however totally unrelated to the battlefield 2 PC games except by setting and name. The controls are easy enough to learn for both infantry, parachute and vehicles, there are no planes in this game but there are helicopters, jeeps and tanks some maps have civilian looking vehicles, so the drivers amongst us need not fear. The single-player consists of a campaign set somewhere in eastern Europe where both Chinese and American troops are on inventing the invasion of the other, the missions generally switch between both these sides and the events are expl... Lemmings (PS2) ... in the day i would play lemmings on my Sega mega drive. The unique gameplay of guiding stupid little green haired things to a safe exit was a shockingly entertaining thing to do. It was also fun to watch it all go wrong, and either see your little green people meet their maker by getting set of fire, or falling in a pit, or even killing them yourselves with a self implode button! Much of this great gameplay was carried over onto the PS2 version of the game. the basis was the same, you had to get the lemmings to the exit anyway possible. obviously the graphics were dramaticly improved and you could zoom closer and fruther out than ever before. Mercenaries Playground of Destruction (PS2) ... is a open world game in a 3rd person perspective where you can do anything and go anywhere, its almost is the same scale as Grand Theft Auto, but the action has been ramped up, buildings can be blown to pieces, you can steal any vehicle and even helicopters! unfortunately you cant steal any planes but with the level of detail and fun you will be having with the game that doesn t matter. The epic scale and dare i say it music at the start really gets you in the mood to get stuck in, having to keep some different factions happy with you is a nice touch, also the ability to call in air strikes is amazing, the best cinematic touch i have to say is when you fin...
