Red Faction (PS2):
... now I remember being excited about this game when it came out so many years ago. With an environment you could tamper with in every way possible, even the floor, it made every time you played very different! This was the first game to introduce a GeoMod technology environment which the possibility to destroy the entire map was endless. Other games had introduced a version quite similiar, but they had limitatio... Read the full review: Retro Fun by Swift87 |

Lemmings (PS2) ... Lemmings like cliffs? Sod that - do Cliffs like Lemmings? That s what I want to know. To this end, I ve spent some of Sunday afternoon perched on my bed, laptop resting on my knee, Googling various strings along the lines of "Lemmings review author Cliff" and "Lemmings by Cliff" and "Sodding BY Cliff not GETTING OFF". Sadly I haven t found what I m looking for, but I did find some fascinatingly dyslexic fan-fiction modulating between Lemming house sales and geologically informative pornography. I also happened upon a surprisingly large number of reviews of the old-days versions for PC, Amiga, Spectrum and the like. And sadly, despite the n... Kessen III (PS2) ... An action/strategy hybrid based on the Samurai Warriors series. Kessen III charts the lifes and times of Nobunaga Oda in his attempts at unifying ancient Japan. Koei This game is made by Koei a company that makes flawed but entertaining games, ostensibly about actual people from history but really about riding around killing as many people as possible with a big spear. (Yay!) Their most noticable output being the Dynasty Warriors series on which Kessen II , this game s predecessor was based. They however were about the unification of China, not Japan. Confused? Good lets begin. Gameplay Let me start by prefacing the proceeding text by saying that Kessen III ... Read the full review: Hack Slash Hack Slash Lather Rinse Repeat... by thegoldencat |

Theme Park Roller Coaster (PS2) ... you like roller coaster? Do you wish you could make or design your own? Well roller coaster lets you do just that. Looking at the cover this game looks to be very exciting and wild with a lot of fun. When you start the game there are two main options: to just build roller coasters or build a theme park. If you just do the roller coasters, you have to make one with the correct factors to it within a limit. You can not make too many people sick, have too much G force, etc. The contols are just the arrows to stear the track into place and X to put it there. I find this quite fun, as when you go further you can have differnt types of track and carts, etc. If you choose ... Read the full review: Roller Coaster World by sambarwell |
