Stuntman is a unique driving game for the Playstation 2 developed by Atari.

Stuntman puts you in the shoes of a movie stunt driver and over your career you will have to perform stunts for a few different films while trying not to get yourself killed! There isn't any real story to the game but that doesn't hurt Stuntman in any way as this game is all about the stunts and performing them well.

The gameplay is rather unique and very challenging, you will control a variety of different vehicles during your career as a stunt man from exotic sports cars, land rover type things to even a snowmobile, the driving model remains pretty much the same however despite what vehicle you happen to be driving. The game has several movies for you to complete in the single player mode and you can also make your own stunts.

The game has quite large environments but you must take a linear path through them to pass the level. Your movie director will shout orders at you and you must perform the stunt he wants like going over a jump, smashing into an object, doing a handbreak turn, activating a movie prop, you get on screen cues as well as to where you should be doing them so you usually have a good idea of what to do.

The frequency of the stunts can be quite punishing and you really have to know the level well so a single level may take you a few play throughs to get it right.

Stuntman provides quite a good looking experience and the replays of your stunt runs, if you do well enough, look really good and are satisfying viewing.

If you are after a unique driving experience, you will be hard pressed to find something as different as Stuntman.
