Such simple premises have often been the most entertaining n the world of video gaming. The finest example remains Tetris, never has dropping blocks been so much fun, and that game has been released on just about every PC, console and mobile phone ever! Bust a Move is a game that continues that tradition, in a new way. Older and seasoned gamers like me will fondly remember the great Bubble Bobble game, and it is Bub and Bob from said game that this idea was originally based around. Your task is simple, to shoot coloured bubbles up into the game screen and try to align 3 or more of the same colour, the effect of which will be the destruction of all the ... Match up bubbles by colour, get three or more together and pop - they'll disappear. It's a simple concept with equally simple graphics, as you would expect for a game that was released a few years ago now. It's also fairly cheap - Amazon Marketplace has copies from £12.00 As we've learnt over the years, the simple games can also be the most addictive. The one player mode isn't too bad - the steps up in difficulty are gentle, and it is easy to get pulled in, but it's also not too hard to put the controller down and wander off. This game must be like the 20th in the series of Bust-a-move, and it hasn't changed much. It is the same old game from before, with minor changes, but it is basically the same. The idea is to shoot the coloured balls into the air and make a chain of 3 or more of the same colour. The game can work on your own, against the computer or friend, but has no amazing changes from previous prequels. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone other than a Bust-a-move first timer, in which they will probably fnd this game great, as it was when it was first released, but for the Bust-a-move fans out there, i suggest you spend your money on another game. ... A puzzler developed by Taito Corporation and published by Acclaim Entertainment. You launch randomly colored balls from the bottom of the field in an attempt to attach them to bubbles of the same color. This may seem to you like any other BAM game, and it has to be said that yes, it is. Once three bubbles of the same color are touching, they pop, and you repeat this process until the field is clear of all bubbles (great fun!). In other words, my brother bought this game and refunded it after one hour. It's utterly rubbish and denotes PS2 performance. The PS2 is for high-quality action games in my mind, not this little crappy piece of dirt. It has to be said ... Read the complete review
