Taito Legends was released in October 2005 and I bought it straight away as a gift for my partner, Al, who had been after a playstation version of Rainbow Islands for a while. He saw this and thought it would probably be better, given that he liked some of the other games on it too. Unfortunately he wasn't happy with the controls, (for those who care - apparently it's only a small difference but it means you can't collapse the rainbows as quickly as you should be able to, which is essential when you get to Robot Island), so he probably would have been better off buying a copy of the old game.
