The Incredibles is an action game for the Playstation 2 developed by THQ. The storyline follows the storyline of the movie but lets you experience some missions when Mr Incredible was once a super hero. Like the movie the Incredibles are forced into living a normal life which is terribly dull for them when they have super powers! The Incredibles get called back into action when the evil Syndrome threatens the world and they have to use all their super powers to take him down. As each of the Incredibles has different powers the game takes advantage of this and each of them have their own unique gameplay. Mr Incredible is the rough tough hero who has ... Having seen the film and really liked I just couldn't wait to get the game and re-live the experience once more! The Incredibles by Disney is based in the film and it is an action adventure game. I thought that the graphics were quite good and I suppose they did the job ok but they could have been better. I was really impressed with how they seemed to incorporate all of the different characters and transfer them too the game really well. The Incredibles was a very popular film yet the same couldn't be said for its game. It was my first PS2 game so I was still getting used to the controls. One thing I liked was how every character could do something different with their powers meaning you weren't just hitting everyone all the time. It gives the game the variety which other super hero games don't. The sound and picture quality is very good. You get to hear what the characters are saying and your game enviorments are really detailed. Also like in other games such as Narnia there are video bits taken right from the film which helps see where the game is fitting in and if you've seen the film so you know ... ****The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer for PS2**** This follows on from where the film left off but as i have not seen it i can't comment on whether or not it is that different plot wise. There is a new threat called Underminer and he plans on ruling the world., "Mr. Incredible and Frozone race underground to put a stop to the Underminer horrible plans and stop him once and for all. In the game you can play either as Mr. Incredible or Frozone and you can change between them when ever you want. I liked playing Frozone best as he had a cool power (lol ) he could freeze things and then ride his snow board on top of them. Both ... Read the complete review
