Advantages: Quaint game, good graphics and sound, good control system, good storyline which is easy to follow

Disadvantages: Unique quaintness is not for all but I personally think this is fabulous

I am huge fan of the Lord of the Rings films and books and decided to give the games a shot as I owner a PS2 so picked up the first of the games to be released in Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring hopeful of a game that lived up to what the films has managed to do in bringing the books to life and I was truly impressed with this game.
The game is a fantastic addition to the Lord of the Rings franchise which sees you guide Froddo and others through the villages, countryside and dark forrests of Middle Earth in order to ensure that the one ring is not claimed for evil purposes as you set out on your way to destroy it. The game is a fantastic game with good graphics and audio and a control system that responds well to the user which makes the game have a nice feel to it and with the unique styling of the game where it is not designed to be supreme with the same feel as the films but rather have quaint feel to it that makes it feel almost innocent and like a game for children but with the playability of a game for those of all ages.
If you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings franchise then this is a great addition for you but don't expect the visual masterpiece of the movies but more a quaint take on the amazing books that have made so many people fall in love with the entire cast of Middle Earth.

Summary: A great addition to the Lord of the Rings franchise
