The Simpsons Road Rage is a driving game developed by Ea games for the Playstation 2. The story starts with nasty old Mr Burns buying up all the transport systems in Springfield, these buses are replaced with new nuclear powered ones which are far from safe! The Simpsons come up with an idea to start a taxi service to earn the money to buy back the transport system and save the town of Springfield once again! The gameplay is highly reminiscent of Crazy Taxi, EA were even sued by Sega because they thought so too! You can choose from a number of Simpson characters starting off with the Simpson family themselves, Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa and as you ... Read the complete review

Lots of people have been disappointed with The Simpsons games and I for one normally am as well. This game however has not been just made to make money and in my opinion is actually a decent game in its own right. The Simpsons Road Rage is a bit of copy cat though however in the fact that it is very similar to Crazy Taxi. The storyline goes like this; Mr Burns has bought public transport, making it radioactive and increasing the fares. Your job is to become a taxi driver, trying to get rid of the buses and put them out of business and earn enough buy back the transport. This does sound like Crazy Taxi and to be honest there are lots of similarities but ... Read the complete review

Take Crazy Taxi (Dreamcast, and later, PS2), add an equal measure of a very popular cartoon show, and you end up with The Simpsons Road Rage. The premise is simple. Mr Burns (boo hiss) has monopolised the public transport in Springfield - running his own nuclear powered buses. Our heroes decide to set up a taxi service, and your aim throughout the game is to ferry people from place to place as the clock ticks down. So far so good, and there are some very good things about the game. The graphics are well-drawn - cartoony, but at the same time giving plenty of detail. The character voices are spot-on, and the comments each character comes out with are ... Read the complete review

Christmas has arrived and a PS2 has arrived with it in the world of Boon, not the best selection of games yet but a VERY welcome one was the Simpsons Road Rage. Now I'm told it's a bit like Crazy Taxi but I've never played Crazy Taxi so my opinion is to be based around the game itself - no basis for comparison. So, into the opinion we go: The game: --------- With it being on the playstation 2 we expect great things from this, you get yourself loaded and get the intro. The story runs that Mr Burns has taken over the Buses in Springfield and the townsfolk do not approve, a taxi service is set up to compete and this is what you're ... Read the complete review

Many People have been very disappointed with the Simpson?s series of games, which designers have attempted to use the popular brand (Simpson?s) to make hits. The Simpson?s wrestling was the penultimate flump in the series, with in my and many others opinions, terrible graphics and far too easy (requiring no skill what so ever). Suffice to say, The Simpson?s Road Rage is a slight improvement. There is only one problem; it does bear a slight resemblance to Crazy Taxi. Mr Burns has bought public transport, turned it radioactive, and is jacking up the fares. You become a taxi driver, trying to put his buses out of business, and make enough money to buy back ...
