The Sims 2 is a simulation game for the Playstation 2 developed by EA Games. The storyline in this game is sadly absent, it has a sort of challenge mode like the Sims Bustin' Out but this time with no narrative of any sort to pull it together, this really disappointed me as though the previous versions didn't have complex storylines having a narrative of some sort is way better than omitting it altogether. The controls been improved significantly over the previous console versions of the Sims, in this game you can have direct control over your Sim moving them with the analog stick rather than pressing on locations with a cursor which suits the PC ... The Sims is a game in which you create your own world. You first have to create yourself, your name, how you want to look, and then it is onto your family, if you even want a family. Then comes the best bit of the whole game (in my opinion anyway), you are able to design and built your own house, down to its size, the garden, the rooms and even the colour of the walls. However, all of this costs money, and it is a all taken out of your starting budget, and when that runs out, you need to get a job. You will need to look through the newspaper, get a job and work your way up from the bottom of the ladder. To keep on getting promotions you need to improve ... Read the complete review

I am a huge collector of the sims but the first one I ever had was the sims 2. The sims 2 was the only game I played on my ps2 for a long time until I got my xbox, but when im sat on my bed looking for a game to play I still look at the sims 2. I found this game in woolworths for £20 about 3 - 4 years ago and I loved it and still do now. The game put's you in a real life position. You start the game customising and choosing you sim. You have a wide variaty of cloths, hair cuts and tatoos to choose from. Then wants you've finished you can build your house. Build the rooms and then choose where to put the doors and windows, then pick what wallpaper and carpet ... Read the complete review

My most favorite sim game so far as you never know what they will bring out next . I like this game as i have always said that it is the most user friendly sim game i have ever played . There is a story mode on the sims where you have to complete certain tasks such as finding jobs , building relationships with other sims and complete goals set such as help other sims where you can progress through the game by moving to different locations . There is a great deal of personalisation that goes into the sims as you can build your house from scratch and personalise the way sims look . You can even get abducted by aliens if you buy a telescope and you do return after the ... Read the complete review

The SIMS 2 is really cool and fun game for a past time. I like playing like the ALIEN controlling over humans and interacting about their daily life and handling life situations. Just like a Simulation. The NEEDS are just annoying sometimes, very challenging if you can't get the needs sometimes. The build section of the game and the purchase part is something I don't like because it is really limited and you can still buy more things needed in the house especially if you got the income and money is flowing in your four-household home. I jsut need to buy more. I don't care about the fire code and building code. Hope SIMS will improve and will allow more space for the ... Read the complete review
