Premium Review The Sims: Bustin Out (PS2): The Sims Bust Out! (359 words)

The Sims Bustin Out is a simulation game for the Playstation 2 developed by EA games. The Sims Bustin Out features a basic storyline where you must become a rich enough Sim to get back at the evil Malcom Landgraab who has gone around taking your neighbours stuff because they couldn't pay the rent. It is a very basic plotline that really only serves to motivate you to do all the game has to offer and finally end up as the richest Sim ever living in the biggest mansion and so on. The gameplay in the Bustin out story mode will have you complete challenges like talking to a certain character, obtaining a certain item and so on. Your reward for doing ...  Read the complete review

Rather like when I got the Wii Sims game (Castaway) I couldn't help but feel slightly concerned over whether the gameplay would fall as a result. I have to say after being so impressed with the original Sim games on the PC I just had to try it out on another console and luckily for me, The Sims Bustin Out was my first encounter of this! I must admit I did find the gameplay to be slightly disappointing however, this was invitable because in my opinion the Sims belongs on PC. With that aside I still found the game to be excellent entertainment value and on that note would really recommend it. Price wise it is available on Ebay for just under £10 which is quite reasonable ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Sims: Bustin Out (PS2): The Sims Rocks...but not on playstation! (214 words)

Hi. If your thinking of buying this game as a sims fan I wouldn't bother. The sims was originally produced for the pc and the playstation format is confusing, very hard to control and the overall feal doesn't work. The only advantage is that the graphics are a lot sharper. With the pc version you were able to very easily navigate your way around the houses and there were very few menus. The playstation veriosn is extremely hard to control and needs a lot of patience. There seems to be a lot more drop down menus and before you can get a person to say, 'go to the loo' the person is sleeping in bed! A feature of the sims is when ...  Read the complete review

This was the first ever sims game i bought. The Sims Bustin Out was so good that i went out and bought some other Sims games too, like The Sims 3 just recently. This was the first Sims game that you could drive your car anywhere and go to visit and stay at other people's houses, simply by driving there. The graphics are in true Sims style, very good and realistic. The Sims bustin out brings hours of fun gameplay and never ending fun! I bought this and was playing it for hours on end every day, it was that addictive! You can invite people to your house by ringing them on your phone, and also you can call house parties which were very fun but ended up ...  Read the complete review
