The Sims starts out with you creating your own character choosing from lots of different customization options from eye colour to your pyjamas! Then you can build your own home those this is limited to how many Simoleons you have in the bank! Building a house is relatively simple you can drag walls where you want them and then populate each room with the furnishing you desire from TVs to paintings, you are also able...more

Firstly, apologies if you think this is in the wrong category. I requested a separate category for the Sims game, The Urbz ages ago, but still it's not here... by the time it appears I should imagine the game will be so old that noone will be interested in a review anyway, so I decided to post it in this category, for The Sims PS2 game as it's the PS2 game I'll be writing about. Plus, if you're interested in reading a review about Sims then this will be more than useful to you too!! Onto the review... It's all about Rep! Sims have been around for what seems like forever... but it's only recently that they've ventured into the city "where ...  Read the complete review

When you hear the word 'Sims' what do you think of? The classic game range by Maxis, developers of Sim City, Sim Farm and Sim Tower? Or maybe it aims you towards the EA Games series, consisting of The Sims, The Sims House Party and its respective series? No, I'm not talking about a classic game series which is loved by millions around the world but the EA game that has been branded by millions of intrepid gamers around the world either the best - or the worst - game ever. Even though EA own Maxis, these games are worlds apart. Here's my point of view - and I don't understand how it's been in the top game charts for so long! You start ...  Read the complete review

If fed up of all the fighting, action and war games that only seems to be available then why not try The Sims game for an alternative! The game is basically a role playing game in which you can create your very own sim which is a virtual person If you like reality TV programs such as big brother then this is the perfect game for you. But if you are impatient then it may be worth you staying away from buying it as it can take a long time for the game to get going and interesting. Keeping your sim happy ---------------------------------- Your sim needs your attention on every part of it's life from feeding to washing to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Sims (PS2): Get a Life ! (824 words)
by - written on 29/04/07 (Very useful, 1810 readings)
Rating:

OK, so if I am I going to be completly honest the original sims game is not as good on PS2 as it is on the computer but for all those people (me included) who do not have the memory on our computers to run the sims, the PS2 version is a good second best. The first task to play the sims on ps2 is to get through a life as your created sim. You have a selection of hair styles, clothes and personality traits to choose from, although what you choose has little effect on the game. The game begins with you having a dream about getting into a hot tub with a man or woman depending on the sex of your own sim but sadly your mother wakes you up and you are back to sim ...  Read the complete review
