I?ve enjoyed first person shooters (FPS) since being introduced to Wolfenstein 3D on the PC many moons ago. Things have come a long way since then. These days my weapon of choice is the Playstation2 and while there is no shortage of FPS titles only a select few fall into the must have category. In my opinion, Timesplitters 2 currently sits at the top of that particular list. The original Timesplitters was one of the very first titles to grace the PS2 console at its launch in 2000. Timesplitters 2 hit the shelves a couple of years later. Like the original, Timesplitters 2 ... Read the complete review

Timesplitters 2 - Outnumbered but never outgunned ! Intro ~~~ First Person Shooters are defintely one of my favourite genres of games ever to have existed. With the full up action, guns, explosions and the fantastic view as if you were in the midst of it all makes FPS a pure joy to play. This is partly the reason why when i heard that a sequel to the original Timesplitters was going to be released I was dead excited. My excitement only grew as screenshots were released in all the mags as well as details on the game and the games structure. I must say that all my excitement paid off when I finally purchased it. Timesplitters 2 really is a pure ... Read the complete review

TimeSplitters 2 pretty much single-handedly proves that the FPS isn't limited to the PC in terms of quality - this, along with the Xbox's Halo, assures us that, if given appropriate care, they can be extremely fun games that don't have to have shoddy controls and poor gameplay. Free Radical consist largely of people who used to work for Rare, and have now started up their own company. Yes, the people who worked on the amazing FPS Goldeneye made this game, and therfore there's no surprise that it's one of the best console FPS games ever. It also improves significantly on the encouraging first installment, with an overhaul of the multiplayer mode, introducing ... Read the complete review

Timesplitters 2 is, in a word, unique. Designed for the hardcore and casual gamers alike, this masterpiece of Eidos is worthy of praise in the annums of Playstation 2 games, and it is little wonder that this epic sci-fi shoot-em-up got a 10/10 in Playstation magazine. So onto the nitty, gritty, as with it's predecessor "Timesplitters", you are a sergeant of a military option to eliminate the Timesplitters - a freakish mutant race of beings who are messing with the past, present and future of your fictitious "earth". Your job is to travel to different parts of this past, present, and future and recover the time crystals that will restore ... Read the complete review

This game is a classic first person shooter game.Anyone who likes first person shooters needs to seriously take a look at this game. A great story mode which can have 2 players playing in it which is always a very good feature of any game. Me and my mates have had some great times playing through the sotry mode on this game. The graphics of the game have never been the best of the best however they have always been accptable to the standards of the time. Quite a bit of the standard now a days but still very clear and doesnt effect game play in any way shape or form. There are plenty of new caracters on the game that wasnt on the first ...
