Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (PS2)

When people ask me what my favourite games of all time are, I mention Goldeneye, the original Perfect Dark, Streets of Rage II, James Pond 3 and then Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 (THPS3). The game I spent enough time on to totally ace (completed with every character, every stat point, every board and ever goal) and the highlight of the Tony Hawk series before it got a bit silly and seemed to drift about. Tony Hawk is one of the most famous trick skaters in the world. His talents have led to a series of fantastic games, which have been released on all formats known to man(and possibly more than that!) The game is set in various parks, with a wide variety of tasks to perform in each. As you progress, so do your skills and your abilities. The third game in the multi million selling series by the Legend ?Tony Hawk?. It outdoes its predecessors in every way imaginable. The graphics are greatly improved, the game play is a lot smoother and more advanced and the overall addiction factor is a lot higher. What the game is about As in the first two Tony Hawks games, you skate about on set levels completing challenges in the 2 minute time limit. The challenges range from getting a high score to collecting icons about the arena to unlocking different parts of the level. hello folks, This is an awesome game. It could beat the other two games that preceeded it hands down. The skaters included in the game are all well known including Tony Hawk (obviously), Bam Margera (Jackass Star) and Steve Caballero (the king of street skating). The gameplay itself is so addictive i think it should come with a hazard warning. The idea of the game is this. There are 15 or so pro skaters to choose from. Select a skater and then play through ten levels with him attaining all of the stat points and level goals as you go along. Having been a fan of all of the Tony Hawk's games for many years now, I thought that it was definately time to get Tony Hawk's pro Skater 3 after enjoying the original 1 and 2 Tony Hawk's as much as I did. Rather like the original Tony Hawk's games the gameplay is very similar with regard to the missions. For example, the different goals such as 'get 100,000 points and collect the letters S,K,A,T,E in one minute are still there. I found it to be really enjoyable to play because of the new maps that were vailable to play on. There really are some very well thought out maps that are just ideal for showing off your tricks!
