hello folks,

This is an awesome game. It could beat the other two games that preceeded it hands down. The skaters included in the game are all well known including Tony Hawk (obviously), Bam Margera (Jackass Star) and Steve Caballero (the king of street skating).

The gameplay itself is so addictive i think it should come with a hazard warning.

The idea of the game is this. There are 15 or so pro skaters to choose from. Select a skater and then play through ten levels with him attaining all of the stat points and level goals as you go along. Once all of the stats and goals have been achieved you can move on to the next level and do the same again. Once all ten levels have been completed in this way then you can move on to the next skater and do the same again. Once you complete the ten levels with a skater then you have access to their video which shows real life skate footage of them at their very best.You then build up a huge gallery of videos of all of the skaters to watch and be amazed at.

Once the game has been completed with all of the skaters you have access to the secret characters and levels. Play through with these unlocked characters and you will be rewarded once again with cheat codes. But the fun doesnt stop once you have done this ... you can make up your own skater and go through the levels with him/her and get even more secret stuff.

Once ypou have completed each level with a pro skater you are rewarded with a brand new designed deck (skateboard) which further improves your skating performance for the next level.

When you collect stat points you can assign them to certain parts of your skating to improve your skills like get a higher ollie or get more hang time in the air.

Once the whole game has been cpompleted and you are starting to get bored riding around the same old places popping the same old tricks then you vcan go to the park editor and make and design your very own skate park fro
m scratch. This feature is guaranteed to give you hours more fun creating and designing until your hearts content.

Overall i would have to give this game and 5 out of 5 because of the excellent gameplay and the features it contains such as the park editor and the create a skater.

You will never get bored with this game because theres always a new gap to jump or as new trick to pull off or a new area to explore.

This gets a real thumbs up from me.

Oh ... and by the way, I rented this game seven times before i finally decided to buy and i havent stopped playing on it since ... actually, i was playing on it right before i started to write this review.
