Wacky Races (PS2)

Growing up I was addicted to the Cartoon Network, from the Flintstones to Batfink and everything in between i'd be glued to the TV set. Luckily for fans like me, PS2 has been bringing out budget titles based on these cartoons. But are they worth the pennies? Sadly theres a reason that these are budget games. Sure they emulate the cartoon well with some fantastic graphics and they even have the original soundtrack fo rthe game, so nostalgia freaks will be amped up to the maximum fo rhte start of this game. We all remember Wacky Races, right? well this is the driving game based on the 70's cartoon, a full 25 years late. Oh well, better late than never, right? Well in this case never would have been a better option. Yes you can select all your favourites from Penelope Pitstop to dastardly and Mutley, and race them around in lovley Cel-Shaded graphics that you'd be hard pressed to tell apart from the cartoon. Yes the music from the original cartoon is there, along with each drivers various catchphrases quite nicely included.
