so KEOI has come out with combi of two of it's biggest franchises i.e. dynasty and samurai warriors in this new tale which pits the might of warriors from the end of the han period/three kingdoms era of china with the warring states or "sengoku" period as it is known it japan . To begin, I would just like to say this is my own work which I have previously posted on the Love Film website, and I am now reproducing here for the benefit of other users who may wish to read it. You'd think that in an industry that has once again come to embrace simple gameplay, the Dynasty Warriors games would have garnered more acclaim than they have done. KOEI's modern take on an old formula is a shrewd one; stripped down to the bare bones, their games are little more than arcade button-bashers, but clever use of the hardware has allowed them to masquerade as grand, epic hack 'n' slash feasts. And yet, the steady flow of spin-offs and sequels have seen the 'Warriors' games hit rock-bottom with the critics, whose near-hatred of the series seems difficult to fathom.
