Advantages: Addicting gameplay
Disadvantages: It's easy to lose, so you've got to be patient
If you have a Playstation 2, you probably own a copy of either Katamari game.
This game is basically the same as the other Katamari games. It's still amazingly fun, though, and the accelerator controls makes it even funner.
Your goal in the game is to roll a sticky ball onto stuff you find on the ground, such as cats, pencils or even Mahjong bricks and get them stuck to your ball. As you roll over things, your ball gets even bigger and after a while, you have a big enough ball, you can roll over a human being and pick him or her up. After making your katamari ball big enough, you beat the level. This game is extremely weird, yet it's one of the best, or even the best iPhone game available for purchase. I'm not a Japanophile, but this game is still amazing just because of it being so very Japanese (Japan is known for its bizarre games).
The graphics are stunning and the style of the graphics are even more mind-blowing. But the best part, except for the incredible gameplay, is the music. It's the catchiest music ever in a game I've ever heard (I'm a pretty big J-pop fan, though) and even the "pop" sound that comes when you roll over an object feels good in your ear.
I give this game a solid 9.5/10
A great game with amazing graphics and music, but it's not very different from the other Katamari games. It's still great fun and I highly recommend it. Clearly worth its price.
Summary: so easy to play
