I am a huge fan of snooker, and when I first got my PS2 this seemed like the ideal game to have. It allowed you to play snooker against top players, working your way through tournaments towards winning the world title. You built up points and rankings, and played against top players. At its best, this is a game which will help you with the real game of snooker. The table ran like a real table, responding to top spin and bottom, cushion bounce, angles etc as in the real game. Sports games are everywhere, especially on the PS2 , from football games to tennis to golf, you can't flick through 3 games in the pre-owned section without coming across a sports game. Fortunatley for me though I came across a good one that I wasn't sick looking at. World Championship Snooker 2005 was only £8.99 when I purchased it and I must say it was worth every penny.
