Advantages: Improved Graphics, More Wrestlers, Better Looking Arenas, Longer Storymode and More Match types!

Disadvantages: Worse Commentary.

THQ and Yukes Return with their 4th installment in the SD franchise... WWE SMACKDOWN:SHUT YOUR MOUTH!

The controls are basicly the same as the past Smackdown games.
You have a punch/kick button (X), a grapple button (O), a run button (Triangle) and a counter button (Square). This time graphics are much more improved than Just Bring It and the wrestlers still look realistic.

This time there are more wrestlers. Some new to the franchise like Hulk Hogan and Rob Van Dam and there are some still here like The Rock and HHH. This time arenas look much more detailed and each has an individual purpose.

The Story is so much longer in this game. You start when the Raw and Smackdown were seperated into to brands. You can either create a roster of superstars or pick the 2002/3 Raw or Smackdown. You play over 4 years of mtaches which is very lenghty. The story will have your show you've picked and it'll have PPV's like Backlash, Summerslam and Wrestlemania x8. The season mode actually has proper storylines from the TV show so you can relive moments like Kurt Angle being shaved in you house again and again

The commentary is worse than Just bring It. It's just little murmmers of J.R and The King saying rubbish. The enterance music is still good though.

There are more match types like 3 stages of Hell and Hardcore. This time you can go futher backstage and wrestle.
