As a massive WWE fan I was always going to buy Smackdown vs Raw 2009 no matter what. I have all the other WWE games and 2009's version is by far the best. Unlike other WWE games this one concentrates on tag team wrestling. Whether you start with the great DX or start a new tag team it all starts with you trying to make your way to Wrestlemania.
The choice of wrestler is huge since the game features characters from Raw, Smackdown and ECW. A word of warning though the game is easier when you start with a better wrestler like The Undertaker, Triple H or Undertaker rather than a midcarder like Santino Marella.
All the usual types of matches are featured including TLC and Hell in a Cell so their is a great range of matches to choose from. On the downside if you like the divas there isn't really enough storylines from them.
The storylines in the game are thorough including storylines that have featured on WWE programming and some fresh ones. The game play is fantastic and has a long life span though you do tend to repeat storylines when you compete with a different wrestler.
The commentary is also excellent making you feel like you are watching the real thing.
If you are a WWE fan then for this cheap price I would say this game is a must have!
