Layeth the Smackdown! Well, its done it again, another fantastic THQ product. Take to the ring as a superstar or even as yourself. Alter the game type, tag team it up or even add a little fire into the mix.
The Smackdown vs Raw series just gets better and better, especially in terms of its gameplay and the character move sets, something they have really worked hard on this time. Explode out in to the arena to the sound of your entrance music and swagger down the ramp to the ring like you are about to rip someones head off. Taunt your opponent and bust some moves until they can't take any more pain. Here that bell sound and run like hell with the belt.
The graphics on this game are great, very clear and actually have you believe you're throwing around another wrestler, as opposed to a box in earlier additions.
Get your friends involved in the action and have a good grapple and a barrel of laughs too.
The lone player aspect of the game is still something to be improved, especially the career mode which hasn't been impressive in the last two versions of the game. However, with the wide range of characters and match types, hours of fun can still be had.
Go out and buy it, you won't be let down.
