Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) ... have to say here and now that I am a huge fan of Hideo Kojima s epic Metal Gear Solid series. i joined the faithful when the first Playstation instalment was released, even buying the Special Missions supplementary game that was released. I purchased both Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 on Playstation 2 when they were released and Hideo Kojima took the story of Solid Snake forward and pushed the limits of the Playstation 2 hardware. I was always going to buy the Playstation 3 when it was released and the knowledge that this game was to be released on the platform was an incentive I really didn t need. SingStar Next Gen with 2 Microphones (PS3) ... you are into video games it is likely you will have come across this series of games which started on Play station 2 and continues now with this offering on Playstation 3. Graphically its an improvement and its still got a very friendly user interface thats quick, simple and easy to navigate your way through. There is also a pretty decent choice of songs on the disc (30 in total) covering a wide variety of artists including U2, Britney, Radiohead, Coldplay to the likes of Musical Youth from yesteryear. The other big news with this PS3 version is the "SingStore" which is an online store on the Playstation network where you can purchase further tracks. This... Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3) ... can I say about the Gran Turismo series that has not been said before? I remember the original game and my jaw hitting the floor the first time I played it, well as you can imagine each game has improved the series. Then add the leap from ps to ps2 and now to ps3 and you can maybe begin to imagine what the ps3 version looks like. Awesome does not do it justice. But GT is about more than the graphics, the physics of the game are amazing and the difference in handling in each car is incredible.
