Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3) ... Game Info: This is a military based first person shooter. You take control of soldiers fighting in a modern, yet fictional war. Gameplay: The controls for the game are easy to learn and quick to master. The movement is flawless and gunfights are highly charged. You will feel your adrenalin pumping around your body as bullets wizz past your head. Graphics: The graphics for this game are stunning and highly detailed. This can be a very gory game at times, especially one specific level. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3) ... am a master of missing the bandwagon. But at least I caught this bandwagon, albeit 2 years after it came out. In fact this bandwagon still has a lot of longevity left, even with predecessors, newer versions and alternatives. So there is of course the single player missions with a variety of terrains, objectives, targets in 2 different armed forces. It is not only 1 man with his gun, but you also get to control a gunship, be a helicopter gunner, operate a vehicle mounted gun, and an extremely cool, long distance sniper mission amongst others. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3) ... I have said in other reviews of games, for me what makes a great game is choice. Take an open world game such as Elder Scrolls, and therein lies the <current> extreme of freedom and choice. Grand Theft Auto series style follow - Go almost anywhere, enter a set number of buildings etc. So to take Uncharted, and you essentially have a platform game. A highly developed, very slick, world-apart-from-Alex-Kid-in-Miracle-World platform game, but a platform game none the less. The progression from level to level is very linear.
