Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3) ... purchased the PlayStation 3 console when it was first released in the UK and received this game in the bundle i chose. Having not been a huge fan of shooting games so to speak like this in the past I was a little tentative as to whether my purchase would be worth the price I paid at the time. However I was pleasantly surprised at how much enjoyment I got from the game. It combines a very good story mode where you are an American soldier who is sent to Britain to defeat the invading martian Chimera , but I must mention the ending is rather frustrating and will lead to a follow up game. Call of Duty 4 (PS3) ... what can I say. So far this is the best all-round game I have played for the PS3. Moving on from WW2 has proven a good choice, the up-to-date guns and scenery makes the gaming experience that much better. In terms of graphics the attention to detail is stunning. Almost every building in the game is accessable maing the attention to detail within the graphics that bit more impressive. Playing through the story mode proved an enjoyable experince, however the real fun begins when you start playing online. Well since then I only have a few games as I don t think there are that many out that are worth shelling over £50 for. Well this changed when my cousin recommended Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
