Call of Duty: World at War (PS3) ... many ways, Call of Duty: World at War is the awkward middle child in the current trilogy of next-generation Call of Duty video games. The brilliant Modern Warfare was a stunning tour de force that revitalised the series, and the recent Modern Warfare 2 has similarly had an extremely positive response. The key is that they were both developed by Infinity Ward, whereas 2008 s World at War, while still a great game, was developed by lesser company Treyarch, who have some different ideas about the trajectory of the series. The game is set in the rather familiar World War 2 territory, which didn t exactly endear me from the outset, but I have to give credit where it is due... Guitar Hero 5 - Guitar Bundle (PS3) ... Hero 5 is actually the 9th Guitar Hero game to be released & the 5th to be released on the PS3 (That s not including Band Hero either!). I have had 5 of the Guitar Hero games on my PS2. However as my Drum & Mic that came with World Tour work on PS3, I decided that I would get Guitar Hero 5 for my PS3 with a guitar. This was so that I could play in High Def & play people Online. I got it for £63.96 inluding a free copy of World Tour for PS3 from Amazon. GH5 has over 80 songs available to play. You can play them with Guitar (Lead or Bass), Drums or even sing the Vocal through a Mic. Plus you can play with any combination of the 4 at once. The way the ga... Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3) ... am a master of missing the bandwagon. But at least I caught this bandwagon, albeit 2 years after it came out. In fact this bandwagon still has a lot of longevity left, even with predecessors, newer versions and alternatives. So there is of course the single player missions with a variety of terrains, objectives, targets in 2 different armed forces. It is not only 1 man with his gun, but you also get to control a gunship, be a helicopter gunner, operate a vehicle mounted gun, and an extremely cool, long distance sniper mission amongst others.
