Andy44 Colin McRae: Dirt 2 (PS3): ... fantastic driving simulator! There are several different driving experiences from rally-cross to landrush. The way in which new races are unlocked means that you go between these modes constantly which I found keeps you on your toes as the vehicle types have different driving styles. The graphics are outstanding with realistic damage, environment and multi-angled replays. There is also a great feature which rew...

agewills Colin McRae: DIRT (PS3)
... ve never been a fan of driving games. They always did my head in because i couldn t get the hang of it and i could never come first. Even in Grand Theft Auto, on the missions where you had to race, i hated them and avoided them if i could. BUT since i ve had my PS3 i ve downloaded about 10 different driving game demos (motorstorm, Dirt, F1, Burnout Paradise, Need for speed pro street etc). Out of them all, two appealed most. Dirt and Motorstorm. Two very different games. Motorstorm is mostly set in the desert in the USA, with a huge variety of vehicles (trucks, bikes, large rigs, buggies, cars etc), a banging sound-track and forgiving game-play (if you go off the track ...

NeoSnake Overlord 2 (PS3)
... Overlord II was launched just two years after the first game. This time you will be playing a new hero many years after the events in the previous game. You will have a new domain called The Netherworld, which is just below the ground. It is considerably larger than the demon tower in the first game. The most considerable changes to the game is the ability for your minions to be able to ride mounts, the overlord will have a ship, in which he can travel the seas, and some other minor special events, where for example you must disguise your minions as small children. And also what I consider a special part of the game is the baby seal hunting through out the entire...

LethalUK Colin McRae: Dirt 2 (PS3)
... game is great fun, with good graphics and a lasting appeal. However, you can t help to feel like it has been ruined a bit, with an Americanised feel, taking away the hardcore racing appeal of the first game. This affects everything from the handling, to the gameplay experience. The game case is very nice, with a jazzy design. The disc also seems to come out very well, not in too tight, creating problems seen with FIFA 09. The menus are easy to navigate, easy to read and quick. There is plenty of options for everyone. The modes are very good, with lots of appeal. Wether it s for a short blast with the quick races, offering lots of choice with lots of loc...
