Sega Rally (PS3) ... used to play this on the Sega Dreamcast (shame they stopped making that console, it was superb). There was nothing better than hacking around the tracks with my mates. This version for the PS3 was just £17.99 when I purchased it and it offers 1-2 players split-screen. You can race up to six players online. It displays the graphics at up to 720P and is rated 6+. The graphics are pretty sharp on this one. The cars have a lot of detail, but the tracks are sometimes a little rough around the edges. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3) ... was a late purchaser of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, mainly due to being so busy working. However, after visiting a friends house and playing his, on a PS3, with a Logitech steering wheel and a special driving seat, I went into a spending frenzy... I was that impressed. I purchased the game from Amazon for £14.98 and a wheel too from BTShop. The game is rated 3+. You can play one player on your own PS3, two player split-screen, or up to 16 players online. The game outputs its gorgeous graphics at up to 1080P resolution. Let s get the game graphics and sound covered first. It looks really superb. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3) ... is quite simply the best driving simulator for the ps3 out at the moment. The graphic are excellent, as you would expect for a HD next gen game. The tracks although fairly limited range from a challenge to the simple speedway but there is a fairly large selection of great cars to buy, including tuned versions. There are 3 driving stages to get though, C, B and A and then a bonus S class if you are a driving wizard (which I am not), with various events and time trials to complete to pass the stage. There is also the opportunity not only to race your mate next to you, but you can race online. This takes quite sometime to load and sometimes runs a little bit funny ...
